When we talk about Data Enrichment we understand it as adding some additional information into the data which is obtained from a client (after tracking users behavior or offline import). E.g. personal characteristics can be added (like gender, age, location), or user's interests, potentialpropensities, etc.
In this regard we distinguish three types of data:
- First party data (obtained from a client itself)
- Second party data (obtained from another client basing on certain agreements)
- Third party data (obtained from third-party services like Oracle BlueKai)
We always follow GDPR as sharing personal data can be sensitive for users. One can check his personal data in Oracle Data Cloud Registry.
BlueKai data enrichment: How it works on our side
When a user is surfing a client's site or using an app, cookie matching with BlueKai is performed - user's id is sent to the service.
Next day we get a batch of enriched data for all the users who visited a client's site the day before.
We pre-process this data and store it in our database.
The data can be further used for audiences targeting or in building predictions.
What kind of data can be obtained
Every client who has an agreement to use enriched data, has an access to all the BlueKai categories that were connected by the platform earlier or can be connected further.
In order to start using data enrichment options, please contact your Client Partner.
